Another Break-in at the Holland Market.
I just learned that the Holland Market was again the target of a Break-In. The police is there right now to investigate. The Holland Blog reported about the previous break-in on March 8, 2009 under the heading: Holland Market burglarized twice.Edit - Delete

Obviously the perpetrators are targeting these small towns that do not have adequate police coverage in the overnight hours! I know people on here are going to crap all over my comment and say Holland PD doesn't do anything and so on and so forth! Well Holland PD is under new leadership and Chief Haughey has been doing a phenomenal job, so onto what I'm trying to say. In this day and age I don't think it's right nor fair to not provide paying taxpayers with adequate police coverage 24/7. If you look at the statistics of how many calls have been covered by State Police you will be surprised! It's quite a few! I think the Town of Holland needs to express there concern to Chief Haughey and push for him to add more coverage so his department can patrol the streets 24/7. Peter do you not agree? I value your opinion because you seem to be open minded towards the PD.

You must be a cop.
You seem to know an awful lot about statistics and how many calls the Real Cops (State Police) respond to here. I would think you are a cop trying to milk the lemmings I mean residents of Holland for their hard earned money. It is an old trick.. Cops commit crimes or fireman light fires and then go and demand the town give them a bigger budget to hire more people to put on the town dole. Nothing but a protection racket or shakedown aimed at unsuspecting town residents. Good one. HAHAHAHA..

Yeah, we do. if you are referring to holland fire rescue, their job is to keep the person in need from DIEING before the ambulance gets there. say you where bleeding out, the Holland fire rescue would patch you up and keep you from bleeding to death before the ambulance got there. We have this stuff for a reason. also, your comment is remarkably hard to read because you YOU TYPE LIKE THIS/ USING CAPITAL LETTERS AND PUNCTUATION/ THAT IS UNNEEDED. just throwing that out there

the question was ; holland fire rescue . why can' t we use the holland ambulance 1 ?, instead of waiting 20 minutes some times longer in the winter,for brimfield ambulance 2 .we know b j at the plow ,is not doing his job senior smegma could sir smegma be about 19 yrs. old and was on the HOLLAND FIRE AND RESCUE ?I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CHECK / OH NO / THOSE BIG CAPS AGAIN . Fire rescue 1 is not an ambulance. its a fire truck. its primary job is to put out fires. it also has medical equipment on it. Holland does NOT have an ambulance of its own. all we have are firetrucks, thats it
And not to get off topic or anything but you really need to not type in all caps, it accomplishes nothing and the way you type, "THE NEW CHIEF CAN PROBABLY HANDLE THIS SMALL [TOWN BY HIMSELF ] " is just odd...
