Business as usual
This is more of the same. Our officials put themselves above the law and always look the other way when one of their own ignore the law. They are always the first to point out why residents or taxpayers can not do or have something because the law does not allow it. When they want something though and the law does not allow it they just ignore the law and do what they want. They are masters of the mentality that the law only applies to us "little people"

Just a little FYI...
Just a little informational note to ALL....Any violation of MA General Law pertaining to waterways in the Commonwealth if commited in the prescence of a sworn Police Officer is ARRESTABLE! This does not mean the Police have to ARREST but they CAN if need be! So a reminder to ALL please be safe on both sides of the Lake!! Obey the laws..they are LAWS for a reason!!

Police Presence
Three officers in the police boat out on the lake. Are the tax payers paying for all three to have a day out?

Athena your not above the Law!
Athena did you ever think that maybe two out of the three guys on the boat might have been the two new "Reserve Officers" that were hired recently..If I understood the Chief right, during the meeting he explained that Officers in training are paid minimum wage..soo therefore you could add there pay together and the Patrolmans pay and it comes out to about the same as two guys!! Soo the taxpayers were actually making out on the deal!! 2 for 1... You get it now??

Minimum wage??
Oh great Cops getting minimum wage. What incentive to look other places for income. Kevin Gleason was able to supplement his income with his gun buyback program. I wonder what our minimum wage cops will need to do to make ends meet.

As a matter of fact, I have never seen Lynn Arnold and her husband Fred Beaulieu doing their thing in compliance with the law with a spotter!

Arrogance at its Best
This is arrogance at it's best and a total lack of respect for the townspeople of Holland especially from people who are our town officials.
It's one thing to be cited for the infraction, but to have it brought to the attention of the public and continue to water ski every day is a slap in the face of the townspeople. Lynn and Fred need to be spoken to by the Holland Police and if this behavior continues they need to be fined in a manner consistent and as prescribed by the LAW. Someone is going to get hurt here someday while Lynn is looking back at her husband skiing while shes driving. The lake association needs to band together and send them a message that this kind of activity isn't acceptable. The Police are going to ultimately be responsible should they fail to put a stop to this behavior if they don't act on what is staring them right in the face. Isn't there enough evidence here now to cite them?
Holland as usual I guess...Do whatever you want with no consideration to the townspeople. These people need to grow up and realize they arn't above the law.

Hey GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...
Hey get what you pay for the cops that get minimum wage are the ones that are training to be part time COPS!! not Cops that hold the title as Part time Patrolman!! Patrolman make a decent wage while RESERVE OFFICERS as stated in my previous comment make minimum wage WHILE TRAINING!! also....leave Gleason out of this!! he is long gone and the department has since moved on....no need to argue anything Lynn....just obey the rules!!!! GET A SPOTTER!!!!

Leave em alone
I think it is great these two old folks can still ski. Who are they hurting at that time in the morning. Our old citizens need exercise. If they have an accident then they can submit the bill to their insurance company or sell their lakehouse to pay. That's the problem with society. Every citizen has a secret desire to see their neighbors punished. Wanna be cops.
By the way.. Didn't Lynn Arnold sit on the planning board that allowed the illegal Johnson Land-gate Houses to be built? Her name is on the plan that violated the state law against building on landlocked property. She did the Johnson Clan a million dollar favor....No wonder the cops look the other way while she flaunts the law.
