The Holland Blog got a copy of this flyer here from Valerie Ebersold who is always out there doing good deeds for our town. The Blood NewEnglandBlood.org which is affilated with the American Red Cross. Please mark your calendar and do the right thing.

NOW Imagine having such a bad day that you find yourself someplace where you need a blood transfusion. ... Either wounded on a Battlefield of Honor,.,.,.,., a traumatic wreck on a highway,.,,,, a horrible accident at work,,,, or even in a Hospital operating room.
...Thanks to the HARDWORKERS of the American Red Cross.. you can be sure there is a ready supply of the lifegiving blood free of pathogens or diseses like HIV, Hepititus, etc
Now imagine you find yourselves in need of this life giving fluid.
(Makes it a day that is not on the top of the happidays list.) .
You would not think your day could get much more worse on the Happiness Scale.
BUT lets say you are really, REeally, REALLY, extremely unlucky that day ..and YOU just ended up with the Sh*t End of the stick because you find yourself in a position to be so unlucky that you ended up with a cocktail containg the most contaminated of all blood.........

I can imagine if Oxfords own Clara Barton knew that Blood tainted in such a manner as described above could somehow be transfused internationally by an orginization like the American Red Cross..... that she was destined to be the Founder of..... I think if Clara truly understood what that meant.....She would never have left Oxford.....She would have been a Teacher instead.
NOW is my chance to help...Clara may be resting in Oxford's North Cemetary but a good ole Oxford Farmer is here to help.
I will help the orginization she founded and do what I can to protect the Blood Supply. I will contribute the Blood of MY family to the supply collected at the Holland senior center to at least dilute the putrid, rancid product that potentially could come out of there.

Jimmy, Jimmy, JIMMY! This latest comment of yours is OVER THE TOP! Sit down...take a deep breath and LISTEN TO ME. Nobody's blood is putrid because of their actions or their personality. You know this... I don't have to tell you something that is obvious. I also know that you are treated differently by the town officials that currently hold all the power. You do seem to be a TARGET. While there has been obvious overlooks to their friends and family... the town NO QUESTION goes after you EVERY chance they get. This blog PROVES it over and over...everyday. Don't PEE on the blog!
Giving blood is very important. I am a nurse and I work in the operating room. I have to hang blood all the time. We have had emergencies at times and I have actually had to call the Red Cross headquarters in Dedham Mass to have Platelets DRIVEN to us because replacing them to a patient who is on the operating room table is that critical. I had a patient one day who had a very friable tumor right by the pulmonary artery. When the surgeon biopsied it the vessel disintegrated and the patient started losing a massive amount of blood. I had to call the lab to get them to release 8 units of O negative blood... O negative is the universal donor and the only type you can give to any one in dire emergency without first type and cross matching the recipient's blood. There IS bad blood between certain individuals of Holland...no question, but NO ONE has "BAD" (putrid) BLOOD!
So, please come out and donate! I can personally attest to the fact that blood donation DOES save lives. By the way, that woman with the lung tumor nearly died on my OR table.... but it was the fast action by the surgeon, the blood bank and myself (with help from my peers!), that SAVED HER LIFE.

Who can blame him if he doesn't want one single drop of Johnson blood. Maybe he's scared that immediately after the blood transfusion he'll start stealing from our town and putting his political opponents in jail. If he'd rather die who are we to blame him?

Ok Peter Frei.. Lets say you had an accident and had to have blood to live. The only blood available comes from E.J or JW. Would you put it in your veins?
My post was more to Honor Clara anyhow. Satire was what it was. BUT....It is Biblical too that a person should not accept transfusions. I do not Judge so If you need Blood then get some. If you would accept Blood then Give some.
Thank God for our Angel From Oxford. If you read her Biography and see where she went. Including Bejing, Turkey etc. You will be blown away. I spent alot of time at her Families Grave in Oxford. Her roots are planted in the Bondet Colony @ Huguenot Farms. I do not mean for anyone to really think there is such a thing as tainted blood. we all know it is in the chromozones.

You people are sick in the head if you dont want to give blood than dont and shut up. There are people out there that need blood so lets ACT like adults and stop putting people down this is a blood drive.

Hey "Sick People".... You know what pal.. I do not care. I do not want to get any blood..Ever..I would choose Death. (And no I am not a Jahova's witness.) I therefore will not give any unless a member of my family needs it. Then they can have some of mine for their own.
That is my Right to choose for myself. So it is probably Illegal.

Death is the cost of living
Sour one.....We will all die sooner or later. It is the cost of living. I do not wish a quick or un-timely one on any person.. Friend or Foe.. when it is time to go then I go. That being said let me tell you. "People with a hart give blood".. Your words..
Heartless people also give blood so they can say "look at me doing good deeds". ( My words) People of Heart and character give more than blood everyday. Away from camera's and others. Without praise. Because it is the right thing to do not because someone is looking. So give blood, alot of it. It is your choice to do so. Remember Clarissa when you see the Red Cross. And be thankful for each and every sunrise. By the way.. Clara Barton founded the American Red Cross after she visited the home Country of Peter Frei. It is an Oxford Swiss alliance. She was awarded the Iron Cross in Germany also.
