Burglary in Holland

Shortly after 6 am this morning, the house of 65 year old Richard Talbot on 6 Cove Road in Holland was burglarized. Mr. Talbot returned home to find a window broken and his door kicked-in. Mr. Talbot occasionally helps Dave at the Holland Market to carry newspapers into the building early Sunday mornings and has his morning coffee there at the Holland Market. A large sum of money was missing after the burglary. The door was damaged to the point that it broke the hinges of the door. The State Police are investigating.

Town Cops?
Why do we have Holland Cops if the State Police do all the work?

Thief
I think someone should ask Mike Jovan where he was on the morning this theft occurred, he is a known "THIEF" and "VANDAL" if anyone is looking for something that may have gone missing on the north side of the reservoir I would suggest you drive over to 41 Craig rd. and ask for Mike.

what happened to the new rule
"From now on comments accusing anybody of breaking the law without specifying M.G.L. chapter and section, or MCR section, will be moved to the trash bin. If a commenter is launching such a serious allegation he better knows what he is talking about and is able to specify the alleged violation. The Holland Blog only requests from commenters the same standards as it applies to itself.
Peter Frei" this was directly copied and pasted from new rule entry I'm curious as to why the last comment about Mike jovan hasn't been sent to the trash bin is all

This has not gone to the trash bin because this is fact! He stole and was caught with the loot in possession I can not disclose anymore info than that because there is an on going investigation.

Agrees with New Here
I agree with New Here.
Someone posted a person's name and address, called him a thief and a vandal, and offered absolutely no proof to support the claim.
Likewise, Observer, your comment contributes nothing of substance either - unless the exclaimation point at the end of your senetnce is supposed to entice people into blindingly believeing what you have to say without actually presenting any verifiable facts.
The guy might be a thief, I have no idea who he even is, it's just that everyone talks about rights and truth and justice on this blog, but there seems to be very little balance to any of those things.

New Rule
Mike Jovan was in the possession of two chain saws that were stolen from the hillside property, two chainsaws that Mike LaMountain had bought just shortly before the theft. Because Mike LaMountain still had the invoice with the serial numbers of the two saws, he was able to prove that the saws were his. Mike got the saws back but nothing more was done. Kevin Gleason was still chief of police at that time and certainly did not do anything as the LaMountains were the victims. This is how "equal protection under the laws" was applied under Gleason.
I do know James LaMountain and Mike LaMountain for more than two years and they have never lied to me. They are honest people.
The comment posted by "observer" is just voicing a suspicion based on the previous theft of the chain saws; observer did not state that Mike Jovan is actually responsible for the burglary.
These are the facts and the reason why observer's comment is still up.

Whoa Whoa Mr Frei
Peter,
The fact that you say nothing was done about Jovan stealing chainsaws is false! If I'm not mistaking the person of interest has a court date in January in regards to the theft of the saws! Frank Reilly and Mike should have also been summoned to that as well! If the chainsaws were not taken out of the truck by Frank and it was reported at that time and an Officer of the Law observed the said items in the truck and arrest could have been made at that point but no Frank took the chainsaws... Please get the facts straight! Mike I know you read this so tell Mr Frei there were charges pressed!

Posted on 11 Dec 2009, 15:20 by Jovan Should have been arrested
FRANK MADE A SWORN STATEMENT
... BULL ....There should have been an arrest. Frank Made a sworn statement and the police spoke to Jovan and his son who confirmed Franks report.
For all the BS arrest of Brigham and Co without probable cause you would have thought the Police would have sent a message to all crooks and arrested Mr Jovan.
BUT after they did not arrest him, Mr Jovan went back to the land several times stealing more stuff each time. Finally the farm had to put a farmhand and video survailance on the land around the clock to stop the crook.
To no avail though as the real crooks are in our town hall taking pensions and post retirement benifit packages ,as well as transferring town treasures to their families and friends. Thank you Johnson family for all you have done to our town.

LMFAO
Ok Lets compare.

1. Paul Minkley allegedly "says" LaMountain painted a crosswalk. LaMountain is ripped from his farm in handcuffs and arressted with no warrant.

2. Jarred Hagerty allegedly " says" LaMountain lit a cook fire. LaMoiuntain is arrested and dragged of his farm in handcuffs without a warrant.
3. Chad Brigham parks on his land for a picnic and he is arressted and dragged of his property without a warrant for parking on his land.

4. Jovan is caught with the goods that match the serial numbers on the LaMountain invoices and his name is written all over LaMountain's saws and othe tools. Reilly swears that they were in Jovan's truck and the police arrest no body.

That is equal protection?????
