Didn't these folks collect over 200 signatures opposing the truck stop ??The HRA also opposes this truck stop. The selectmen were given a petition with the signatures. What did they do about the petition.
I can not believe Wettlaufer will let a thing like public sentiment interfere with his plans for the site. Anthony Grossi the developer is very close to our own "Monopoly Man" Wettlaufer. Mr Grossi told me personally that he is a "close personal friend" of Selectman Wettlaufer.
When I need to conduct business in another town I have many friends sitting on various boards who all recuse themselves because voting on something for a friend is a conflict of interest and is considered corrupt. Also voting on something for an enemy is also a conflict. Like the No Parking signs.
We have four individuals and their families controlling over 20 town offices. They appoiint their friends and co workers to fill lord only knows how many others.
I say the truck stop is a done deal but we will see. I am sure we can tie them up in Court for years on the aquafer issue alone . Then the is the Federal Historical Preasevation act for the Indians.
Should prove interesting as the Jackels in the town hall reveal their true character to the rest of Holland.

Give the acting chief a raise while acting, hope it is not taken away when a chief appointed. The selectman should do him a favor and send him to the police academy if remains ful time.

Who is HC
Who is HC? Peter Frei thinks HC is the X Chief Gleason. He thinks this because Peter traced the IP adress number he use to post on back to an Official server used by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
I say Gleason is the wrong answer. Peter is write in pointing out HC is definitly a town Official. Perhaps one of our Selectmen. Go to the trash bin here and read the posts by this person.
Most all are vindictive and meanspirited without any Iota of truth. If the town officials have something to say on this blog to rebut the truths posted here for our readers then they should do so under their own name. Perhaps an apology from the Johnson Clan and Wettlaufer to our town would be in order while they turn in their resignations.
In any event these are the kind of people running our town hall.
Are they really representatives of the People in this town?? I have met alot of people in this town while living here these past 16 years and have found most to be hardworking honest folks. How did such corrupt individuals gain a foothold in the town hall then?
This community has the opportunity to be a leader in the 21st century yet instead we have a truck stop driven down our throats.
Thank you Holland Board of Selectmen. ( HC)=Holland Chairman. My guess is HC is Wettlaufer.

Salary
Is that all a police chief makes? Under a grand a week.
ANd not allowed to work details either. Such a shame. I hope their incentive pay.
Anyhow why does Earl keep giving away the store. He stands at town meeting and tells the town his secretary Ms Higgens in the assessors office needs more money. Earl is supposed to be representing us not giving away the store. How much does Brian Johnson make. What is the total compensation package for our Selectmen including pensions , health isurance etc. I am talking legal compensation. Not counting what they steal from the town like land for Johnsongate or their kids etc.
