wow, that is great progress with the police dept, they put up a wall, good job. How come the 6 yrs or so when he was part time as a sgt, he did not do anything, never saw him, or heard of him. For someone who does not want to be chief or in charge, he is doing a lot of chief duties, renovate, get new cruisers, hire more people. Should our next chief in near future take care of this. This effort may be all for nothing acting chief when the next chief finds out your little secret. and the skeletons in the town hall.

I was once a youngster
I'll have you all know that to do away with the rec. area that these kids currently occupy is what they need to stay out of trouble. If in fact this skate park is done away with you'd better buy some more cops because the youth will rebel. You people in charge might want to think about keeping it around until you find some other activity to keep these kids on track. REMEMBER children are products of they're environment. I'm hoping what I have said will shed some light on something very important.

"WOW" You are a perfect example of somebody who likes to try and start trouble...Lets face it the Police Dept. has a good crew now and their Acting Chief is doing a great job! Mr Lamountain or Mr Frei can you add to this???You gentleman have had the chance to interact with the "new Holland Pd"...what do you think?People like you "WOW" need to give the Police Dept a chance!Changes being made are changes that should have been made years ago and could affect Officer Safety or the safety of the public! In this day and age I dont care where you are Holland or Springfield!Crime does not discriminate!Be thankfull you have a fine group of men willing to risk there life for someone they have never even met!

To Unreal
Hi.. I do not know what you want me to add to my earlier post about the HPD, You tell Hollandite to identify himself yet you do not. Why???
About the PD, As I said I gave a report to Officer Moorhouse who was proffesional. Officer Forcier is the outreach Officer and he reached out and I got to know him a lil, Officer Duggan is Emergency Management Officer and we put all our men qnd equipment at his disposal if it is ever needed. They both spent approx 1 hr talking to us after Gleasons departure.
I have yet to meet the acting Chief but was surprised to learn he has been here so long.
I do not make any judgments on people until I get a chance to look in their eyes and shake their hands. The acting Chief and Officer Moorhouse were here many years serving under Gleason. Did he contaminate their Honor and Ethics??? That is not up to me to speak too re the Acting Chief As I have not met him and will give him the same courtesy I give every person. I will give him the benifit of the doubt.
Officer Moorhouse finds his name on the Stacy Quinonnes Lawsuit as a Defendant. It would be best for him to speak to that as I am unsure what part he played. However My personal interactions with this man has been limited.
So Mr or Ms Unreal...I do not know who Hollandite is but perhaps Hollandite knows something we don't. I believe Hollandite knows many things and had a few choice bits of info that helped our Former Chief take early retirement.
But all must remember that our police officers are human. They are here to protect and to serve our entire community including the corrupt ones who are their bosses.
I think Holland is on the right track with these guys and I would support them fully unless i am shown a reason to do otherwise.
