so the second in command now becomes first, for time being. He tried to avoid it. The Lt. who was second in command for many years was in charge, now is not. Interesting on how part time employes out rank full time employees. Another Gleason move. I heard from an officer from a bordering town that noone there is qualified to work as a full time officer in this state.

Open Question
After reading about the open meeting violations by our Selectmen in the Springfield,Worcester, and Southbridge papers, I was wondering.
Here is a question for our New Police Department who wishes to gain Public Trust back with open and ethical conduct while upholding the law equally for all.
Where does somebody complain about open meeting violations. I hear it happens all the time by many of our Board members. These laws are in place to discourage back room deals detrimental to our community. Also we have a right to know. Unless they call executive session all meetings must be open and they must post ALL meetings and take minutes.
I would ask our new Acting Police Chief to answer this.
Who do we complain to about this?
