One of Gleason's ex-girlfriends is moving on.
Sara Ashleigh, aka Sara Meier, one of ex-Police Chief Kevin Gleason’s ex-girlfriends and mother of Gleason’s youngest daughter has an impressive drive! Sara manages the “Children's Crossing” store located at 479 Main Street, (Rt.20), Fiskdale MA, in the same building as the Sturbridge Coffee House, is a real estate agent for Sullivan & Wallace, a full time mom to her daughter, and still finds the time to do concerts… I am truly impressed ... Sara Ashleigh is on Facebook.com under Sara E. Ashleigh.Dave Bell, drums, is another individual with a busy schedule. Dave is the owner of 1-Stop Towing on Holland Road in Brimfield.
I hope a lot of people will attend the concert on May 22 in Palmer.

There you go. Sara,,,,Isn't that much better than getting involved with the stink in our town hall. What can you tell me about the election day flyers can get your name off the Federal Complaint. I know you were just trying to take care of your family.
You can't sit in an office all day with the dark one ( Earl) and not have it affect you. It must have been like a breath of fresh air to get away from him. JoAnne Higgens is now being mesmerized by the King of Darkness in the assessors office. Sara , I bet you know enough to make a few heads roll. So call me or come over. It will be good to catch up on things.

Awesome Job
Well it started as a dull Friday night. The kids were all off elsewhere. Other than supporting the families race team at Thompson Speedway on Thursday nights in the super late model division I pretty much don't go out.
But last night was an exception and I went to Palmer to see Sara and Co. Push the blues. I haven't drank since 91 and have not been into a bar in years. Remembering the bar band quality from my drinking days I really was not expecting much more than an overly loud, off key, and out of tune bar band.
I got there and Sara was standing outside. She was gracious and after catching up on things, we then went inside where quite a croud was gathering. After paying a 5 dollar cover charge we took our seat just as the band started to warm up. I was in good company and was happy to see others from Holland there.
Sara seated her mother Mary Lee right next to us and took her place on stage. I believe she mentioned the Sax player was herr new love.
It was nice being in a crowded bar with absolutly no smoke. Seated at the other table next to us was Sara's protege and back up singer Kaitlyn Mc Doogle.
The band started, I thought it was a little too loud.. but thats all. Sara belted out blues tune after Blues tune and even did a lil something by Janis Joplin. Her range and confidence were awesome and the entire place just started rocking.
If Sara would compete on American Idol she would do Holland proud I am sure.
Great Job Sara and Co. It seems as you found your calling. Maybe a lil late but better late than never.
I would strongly recommend that anyone who knows Sara or likes the Blues take the time to see and hear this wonderful local band.
