The Holland Blog is working!
The Holland Blog subscribes to a service that analyzes traffic patterns.Yesterday the Holland Blog set a new record with 190 visits total within 24 hours (midnight to midnight). The number of returning-visitors was 148; 42 visitors were new. New visitors are visitors that visited the Holland Blog for the first time ever. If an individual uses a different computer with a different IP he is counted as a new visitor.
The previous record was set on April 8 with 79 visits total, returning 73 and new 6 visitors. The total of page views yesterday was 1,119 pages. New visitors viewed 316 pages. The average time spent per visitor was 10:58 minutes; for new visitors it was 13:36 minutes. The average bounce rate was 20.63%; for new visitors it was an incredible 14.29%!
The Google search Chief Kevin Gleason resignation, produces the Holland Blog as 4th ranking result. The Holland Blog beats the Telegram & Gazette webpage which is 5th!! The top ranking and the second result actually quote the Holland Blog’s post about Gleason's resignation from the Southbridge PD about 10 years ago. In that sense the Holland Blog is not only the top ranking result for this search, the Holland Blog holds 3 out of the top four ranks! Out of fairness, the third ranking result is quoting the Telegram & Gazette piece written by Kim Ring about Gleason's resignation.

You better believe it is working, it is the number one subject discussed at the water cooler with town workers.
Did anyone see the newspaper article in the Southbridge evening news. Wettlaufer was asked if the blog made the Chief resign and did not say it was not. Wettlaufer says he does not like being attacked by the Blog. Well Wettlaufer why don't you save the blog . the effort and follow Gleason.

Concerned
the previous selectboard recovered about $14,000. in equipment from the police department. an audit should be done back to 2001 of what was purchased and what was in the policy department as of monday. surprise, surprise, surprise. The town has never to my knowledge, had a sale of old equipment, etc. where does it go?
to someone's house. our tax dollars are being kept in someone's home ???? we paid for machinery, equipment, someone needs to start an invetory.

Hey Holland, What is the matter with you people picking on me and my family. This town owes me and my family all that we take.
I have made sure to take care of those I surround myselves with at the town hall.
I knew Gleason was a bad guy. Thats why I hired him. It does not bother me that he resigned, after all I get to appoint the next Chief and you can be darn sure he too will recognize us as the first family of Johnsonville.
What other town selectmen get health insurance for themselves and their family for part time work.
We Johnson's are entitled to all we can take from the town.
You have no Idea how hard it is to keep track of all the lies i feed to you stupid residents.
It took me and my family many years to surround ourselves with like minded corrupt individuals in the Town.
WE are the first family of Holland and Me and my Children and grand Children deserve all we can skim from the town. Why do you think my kids live on land the Inhabitants of Holland gave us. I even signed the deed. The town did not need the land. The town can beg borrow or buy more land for the senior housing and elementary school.
We Johnsons are royalty here in Holland and we are ENTITLED to run your town without question.
Now leave us alone. We know what is best for Johnsonville and we certainly do not want watchdogs telling us to stop ripping Holland off.
Vote for me as your unopposed candidate for tax assessor and I will fix your tax bill and make up the shortfall by raising taxes on those who oppose me or speak out against my family.

Hello Mrs Heather Wettlaufer, you know I have never met you. Mayam ..you do not even begin to know me .. So why do you drive by me on our FARM @ Mashapaug and flip me off.
Were you putting your middle finger up to tell me the total combined IQ of the Holland BOS ?
I think of the hateful things you said about me to people at your dinner table, to my neice Samantha when she dated your grandson,... all those things you have said and done to slander me and you have never even met me.
So I feel sorry for you that you had to stoop to give me the middle finger as you drove by. Did it feel good?
It is about time you showed others your true colors because there were many people on the beach who saw that and wonder why Selectman Wettlaufer's wife was hanging out the window with her middle finger sticking up.

I would honestly like to see Pastor Tom Crouse run for Selectman of this town. I think that he would make some great changes, and definitely would take very good care of the town. Any thoughts?

I do not know Mr Crouse. Perhaps its time to go to church. Is Pastor Crouse the town moderator?
SIGNS ARE OUT !! They look good. If anybody see's anyone tampering with the signs please write down plate numbers or take a picture with your cell phone. It is a violation of Mass General Law to remove campaign signs during an election period.

Tom Crouse for selectmen? I Think Not!!
I certainly would not vote for Tom Crouse, having been a victom of Tom's abuse of power. I have personally witnessed fourteen members of the church that he personally evicted from the church. Then lied as to why these people (along with there families) left. Not to mention one having been a former assistant pastor.

Tom Crouse Selectman?
I for one have been a member of HCC for a long time and the former Asst Pastor was never evicted from the church, asked to leave or have been slandered by anyone at the Holland Church that was his choice. I am not sure if Pastor Tom would even want the Selectman position. I think he is more concerned with telling people about Jesus than town politics. Tom Crouse is a good man who upholds the Word of God regardless of popularity. Maybe people should ask him what he thinks instead of assuming he's even interested. There is a lot of assuming going on even by the last commenter.

If you were a member of the Holland church, you would know that no one was evicted from the church. Nobody was asked to leave including the former assistant pastor. You are basing everything that you have said off of gossip and hear say. Holland church is as strong as it has ever been and that is because the Church stands upon God's word. I would strongly encourage you to get your facts straight before you start making statements like that.
