Live streaming video showing BP’s work on the bottom of the ocean in the Mexican Gulf.

Even so the BP oil spill is not local news, it will sooner or later affect us all. The scale of the catastrophic oil spill in the Mexican Gulf is beyond anybody’s comprehension.

Live video link from the ROVs monitoring the work 5,200 feet below the ocean.
Enterprise ROV2 (showing the leak between the 19” riser and the top hat cap, the best capture rate with this setup is about 17% at best): Please be aware, these are live streams and may freeze or are unavailable from time to time.

Who is responsible for this catastrophic release?
Who is responsible for this mess in the Gulf? BP...? Regulations that prohibit shallow water drilling? No folks we are all responsible for this oil release. Each and every one of us that drive a car or heat their homes with oil..It is as much your fault as it is the well owner. Statisitics show there will be accidents. Yet we accept this risk when we do not develope renewable energy. There will be more oil spills in the future..It is time to develope our renewable energy alternatives.

It will never work..
The attempted "top kill" in progress now will never work! Success would defy the laws of physics.
The question is why are they trying this if it will fail? The only reason I can think of is a public relation stunt to keep the public hoping that they can stop the leak, which they will not be able to do.
First it was going to take up to 24 hours, now after 48 hours BP representatives informed the press and US officials that it will take another two days.
It is all about buying time and keep the public's hope up.
The next thing they will try is a joke too. The next thing will be the so called "junk shot" and is just another PR stunt. It will fail also.
My best estimation is that the leak will still be ongoing in August, maybe even into September.
The only way to stop the spill is to finish the process of drilling the two relieve holes, a very challenging endeavour.
You can quote me on this if it tuns out that I'm wrong, I wish I would be wrong.

Oil is a natural element in nature. We use it on our roads all over America.. So you get a few fish slick, tar balls on the beaches??? Who cares. I say to all you morons who pick on the well owner. Park your vehicles, shut off your lights in your home and your heat or SHUT UP !!!!!

To Nature Boy
Farce, why don't you clime a mountain, wait for the next thunderstorm and stretch your arms and hands towards the sky. With a little bit of luck, you get struck!
Lightning is a natural occurrence.
