500 Club Roast Beef Diner

Super-Special-500-Drawing-TicketFortunately, the weather will cooperate with the planned “500 Club Roast Beef Diner” organized every year by the Holland Rod and Gun club. The event that will take place tomorrow, Saturday July 25, is the biggest event organized by the club every year. There will be country music played by the Stone Canyon Band, a band that made it into the Country Hall of Fame. The band will play from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. The dinner will be served at 1 p.m., half an hour earlier than last year.
As every year, the club will sell 500 tickets for $15.00.
The drawing will be at 4 p.m. The first prize will be $1200, 2nd prize $600, 3rd prize $300, 4th prize $200, 5th Prize $175, 6th prize $150, 7th prize $100, and 8th prize $50.
There will also be drawings of attendance prizes of $25 each. The times of the drawings will be: 2.30 p.m., 3 p.m., 3.30 p.m., and 4 p.m.
There will be horseshoe pitching and time to catch-up on local gossip at the bar inside. I was there last year and had fun meeting new people. You don’t need to be a member to attend.

Excited
Tks for this reminder! I can't wait to attend this event as it's always "fun" and one of the best events in Holland each summer.... And Stone Canyon band consists of Holland natives - the Lachances. Brenda Lachance even cut her own record. I know tickets can be purchased @ the door so everyone should feel free to come even if you haven't bought a ticket yet. A great day is guaranteed as usual!! This is the club's biggest event of the year..... The money raised tom. will help pay for improvements to the facility.
