Speak out Holland! (no.3)

As every 6th of the month, everybody is invited to go off topic here. Comment about anything that is bothering you, but do it in a civilized manner! I will delete obvious lies and offensive comments. Holland/Wales Regionalization:
we all read this blog as our dirty little pleasure... we all have our reasons right? so that's why I am here...

OK so regionalizing the 2 elementary schools together is a HUGE problem for both towns... what mother wants her child shipped to another town for elementary school? what senior citizen is going to be blinded by Mr. Durgin's regionalization committees bias statements?

Parents it's time to speak out.

Unfortunately, I am not able to, but believe me if I could I would start this group... Once a group is open, I will make my feelings public and support it. Please understand I am not a fair weather person... i have strong ties to the community and if i wasn't where i am now, i would totally form this committee against Holland/Wales Regionalization. But I simply cannot.
Someone please step forward...

Form a committee?????
You cant get the drones in this town to form an opinion without being told what it is.
Its people like you who take no action yourself that make up our town. Welcome to Holland

Truck Stop
I say support this truck stop. I see it as a business opportunity. I can run an entire string of girls from my new bordello here in town. I can pick the clients and offer them meals, a shower and who knows what else. No lot lizzards here , We will give them vip treatment. Perhaps a gentlemans club tooo.

Holland welcomes opportunity. Support the flying J.

Crime Watch?
Does Holland have a neighborhood crime watch program? I think the economy as it gets worse will require that neighbors watch out for other neighbors. I know a guy who has some resources that could help out such a group if one got started.

COW SKIN
PLEASE TAKE DOWN THE BLACK AND WHITE COWSKIN HANGING FROM THE TREE LOCATED ON MASHPAUG ROAD AKA MIKES BEACH. IT IS REPULSIVE.

Repulisve?
I have a friend in Switzerland, he owns a house on the outskirts of Zurich. His neighbor died and the house got sold. The new owner tore down the aged house and applied for a building permit to build a new house with very narrow windows and a flat roof. My friend neither liked the new owner and the design of the house and appealed the issued building permit. A long legal battle ensued. The house eventually got built and after a few years the new owner and his wife went through a divorce. The house got sold again and the new owner and my friend became friends.
My friend had another barbecue party the other day with the new owners and told me about the party. I said to my friend that it is a shame that he has to live with the ugly house just because the previous owner built it that way. My friend responded: "Since the house is owned by the new owner and we became friends, the house does not seem to be that ugly anymore...."

There are no bylaws against cow skins hanging from trees, I actually find it funny and not repulsive, but then again, I consider Mike LaMountain a hard working nice guy and a friend. He is always there when I need a hand and does not ask for anything in return.

BYLAWS
OK BYLAWS OR NOT ITS A HEALTH ISSUE. ITS A ROTTING ANIMAL SKIN HANGING FROM A TREE NEXT TO A BODY OF WATER. IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW ITS NOT 1640 AND,HANGING ANIMAL SKINS IS NOT A COMMON PRACTICE ANYMORE. IF YOU CLIENT HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE TOWN LET HIM TAKE CARE OF IT IN COURT NOT WITH THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE LIVED HERE THERE ENTIRE LIVES. IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT IF IT WAS ON SOME BACK ROAD IN TOWN BUT ON THE MAIN STREET NEAR THE WATER? AS I RECALL WASNT THERE GUARDRAILS IN FRONT OF THAT PROPERTY? AND I DONT RECALL THERE BEING ANYMORE THAN 3 FEET OF LAND THERE NOW THERES A BEACH? JUST CLEAN IT UP THE PEOPLE OF THE TOWN SHOULDNT HAVE TO SEE A MESS,YOUR PROBLEM IS WITH THE TOWN NOT THE PEOPLE.

Tanned Cowhide
Ok here we go...More negative propoganda by a town official.

Number 1. The cowhide is tanned and not rotting. It hung on the wall in my library for over ten years. We are beef farmers the hide is our shingle.

Number two. There was according to town tax records 11 thousand square feet of land at mikes beach before he purchased it in 2006. A survey was conducted in May of 2006 by Sherman and Fredryk of Palmer who is an ethical land surveyor and engineer and it was recorded at the registry of deeds that there was 6900 square feet of land at miles beach at the time of survey and conveyance in 2006. Not 3 feet as the propoganda master wrote in his attack against the owners of Mikes Beach.
Nimber 3.. It is the town of Holland Officials who initiate lawsuits or deny us our civil constitutional rights with their Illegal activities that is causing the huge legal expenes to the town. That and the Illegal Johnsongate house that have 14 town officials listed as defendants for the Illegal Johnson Houses on the landlocked property off Stafford Road. The town is paying 3 lawyers for Earls Fiasco with the fraudulantly conveyed town land.

Earl why don't u post under your own name.. Cmon I DARE any selectman to post here and rebut what the documents show on this Blog. You can't. The Light now shines on truth thanks to this blog.

Jim LaMountain.

Health Issue?
"by What?," there are laws protecting the health of our community. I think it is only a health issue in your imagination. What is hanging there is an already treated skin free of any animal parts that could rot. People who lived here all there lives do not necessary see it your way. Maybe it is time for you to see that there is a world beyond Holland. By the way, I do not have any "clients," read the definition of "client." The guard rails were ordered there by Earl Johnson, and his son Brian Johnson in retaliation to Chad Brigham's candidacy for the position of the selectboard seat in 2007 and subsequently removed as the Jersey barriers violated the owners constitutional right to access their property. It was just another unnecessary waste of taxpayer's money by the Johnson clan.
Your claim with the 3 feet of land between Mashaupaug Road and Hamilton reservoir is as ridiculous as the rest of your comment. Have you heard of deeds and descriptions of parcels of land contained in deeds?
If you don't like change, you should have bought the property and leave it the way you like it while paying taxes on it.
I remember attending a public hearing pertaining to the property known as "Mike's beach before the Holland Conservation Commission. Karen Raymond had the same complaint, "a mess on the beach." I asked her what the mess would be. Her answer was, "there are chairs, tables, toys and grills spread all over the beach."
I wondered what else she would expect to be on a beach used for recreation......

Cow Skin Beach
I find it hard to beleive that people would put a animal hide in a tree. That said, the area below the skin is a disgrece to the lake. It looks like hillbilly heaven. Please show some respect for your fellow citizens and straighten out that pigsty you call waterfront.

Hillbilly
I notice whenever the cowards in the town hall or their families post their attacks here they use alot of the same words. Hillbilly for example is a talking point strait from the stooges mouths.

I would say that Holland probably has alot more Hillbillies then it does sofisticated liars from long Island.

Nice try Penny.

Cow Skin
Dear Penny

I put the cow skin up in the tree so everyone will know where the farm is. Sorry you dont like it but I'll take it down when im ready to. As far as the stuff on the beach goes, I thought it looked a lot better last year when I had my firewood stacked along the road. Dont you?

Mike (the first farmer to ever be called a hillbilly)
