The rest of the road up to the HRGC and beyond is a track for snow mobiles during the winter. One of the snow mobile drivers discovered the collapsed roof today.

The pavilion towards the access road collapsed towards the parking area of the HRGC.
It seemed that the sliding snow from the roof of the other pavilion pushed the roof towards the parking area.
The picnic tables and everything else was crushed underneath.
The snow of the side of the roof towards the parking area seemed to have been sliding down before the roof collapsed.
The massive snow accumulation deposited on the roof during the multiple snow storms are piled up at the pavilions edge; the pavilion that is still standing.
