I don't know if other residents would like to know about some of the things that their taxes are paying for. Seems like the highway department members get an automatic raise of about $500.00 per year by not using a trash collection company and bringing their trash to the town barn and leaving it there.

These photos just don't seem to be trash generated by a highway department that SHOULD be working around the town.

Another question is the liability of the town when non employees are using the facilities of the highway department to work on personal vehicles. This happens during regular work hours as well as times when the highway department is closed and there are not any town employees on site. Are the vehicle bays left open or are there many unauthorized keys given out?

Another is the usage of town vehicles. Town vehicles to make trips to home or other non work related places instead of using a personal vehicle, ie. parts stores for personal parts for personal vehicles being worked on by unauthorized people in town garages, barber shops for personal care on town paid time, going for lunches, joy riding. Is there supposed to be supervision?

Now Peter, these are just a very few of illegal things going on in just one aspect of town workings. I can send other items that our group has knowledge of. These are things that there are eye witnesses to and are not just hearsay. Yes, this will be unsigned until we can see that there might be some trust and commonality in all of our endeavors in making these wrongs go away as well as the people that are responsible. I think that right now our commonality is in the previous sentence.
