LaMountain Bros. Racing at the Thompson Speedway.

To get the most action you can have on any Thursday Night, I recommend a trip to Thompson Speedway which we at LaMountain Bros. Racing consider our home track.

We have been racing there since 1994 and usually make it to victory lane at least a couple times each season in the highly competitive super late models. LaMountain Bros Racing Team fields the blue and white #15 super late model.

Qualifying usually starts around 5 pm with the final feature ending before 10 p.m. most times. The events are NASCAR sanctioned and the series is known as the NASCAR Whelen Weekly Racing Series with over 7000 competitors nationally. One of the Drivers at Thompson is the point’s leader for the national championship.

Eighteen year old phenomenon & NASCAR Sprint Cup driver of the # 20 Home Depot car, Joey Logano, began his racing career here at Thompson. Other well known drivers such as Steve Park and Martin Truex, Jimmy Spencer, Tony Stewart, Michael Walthrip , Matt Kenseth and the Fuller Bros have all competed at the Thompson Speedway. Sadly three drivers have given their lives at the Speedway in the past 5 years due to incidents on the track.
