Rip Ambrose..
Prison Guard guns down a cop and kills himself in Springfield and we get bagpipe parades.. Hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars squandered to bury this guy cuz he had a badge. When will these parasites stop bilking the public and do their jobs. A convenience store clerk does more good for the public than ant ten cops. Yet when they get murdered in a robbery they dont even get amazing grace on a gazoo. More examples of elitest puplic servants putting themselves above those who overpay them to serve.

wow
right, a cashier who accomplishes nothing in life besides sit behind a cash register does more then a person who upholds the law? HA

Yup.
There are more store clerks killed in the line of duty than cops. And they most certainly serve more people in a day than a lazy cop eatin donuts and busting kids for weed, or gathering revenue for insurance companies with traffic stops.. When a clerk is murdered in the line of duty his life is minimized by people like you. Cops break and bend the law for their own purposes and the legislative process is flawed. To enforce laws that are in conflict with our nations foundations as spelled out by our Founding Fathers is an act of treason. The real hero here could be the prison guard who was protecting his right to argue with his wife at home without armed thugs with badges storming his home.

Hey "not!!"
Hey Peter you don't think "not!!" comment is very disrespectful and should be taken down?? Officer Ambrose dedicated almost 40 years to the Springfield Police Department and your gonna let some keyboard warrior shit all over him and all the other reputable Cops on the job?!! There's good and bad in every profession including POLICE unfortunately.. and store clerks! Just because Holland has had it share of sour apples doesn't mean all Cops are bad. To the author of the comment i'd like to know how you sleep at night..

First Amendment Rights
I'm very passionate about First Amendment Rights, the comment left by "NOT !!!" is an opinion. The comment does not assert any facts which are wrong, just an opinion.
Your comment concerns me more than the comment left by "NOT !!!" because you seem to intent to take away the First Amendment rights of individuals who do nothing more than exercise their Constitutional Rights...It aint gone happen, sorry!
While I'm aware that I'm the target of all the hatred because people post comments anonymous and can therefore not be hated, I can handle it.
It is sad that the police in town do not have the support of the majority; it raises the question whether they deserve it. Integrity is something you have or you don't; it is not like a skill which you have to a certain degree. I'm personally disappointed for good reasons.
I see the day coming when people realize that entertaining a police department on town level is a waste of money.
A Police Department has the integrity of the Police Commissioner (in Holland that would be the board of selectmen with James Wettlaufer as its chair person). If you believe that Wettlaufer is an individual with integrity, you will believe that the police department has integrity too.
Today is Election Day; I read a flyer yesterday opposing article #1 on the ballot. The article, which is an attempt to consolidate the power of the selectboard in changing certain positions from elected to appointed positions. It was signed by some anonymous Committee. People are afraid to voice their opinion for fear of retribution....
Wettlaufer also wrote a letter to the editor published in the Sturbridge Villager making his argument in favor of appointed positions. I wonder what skills for instance a tax collector needs. Last time I paid my taxes, the lady behind the counter had to make three attempts to add up four numbers using an electronic calculator. Don't get me wrong, I do like our new tax collector; everybody is an improvement over Nancy Talbot. The new tax collector has a sense of humor and seems to be a nice person and unrelated to Wettlaufer, a fast improvement.
What kind of skills are needed for the position of Highway Surveyor??
Brian Johnson did not even get the position in the first place winning the "popularity contest" criticized by Wettlaufer in his letter to the editor; Brian Johnson, unemployed at the time, was appointed at the beginning of his "career" because the previous Highway Surveyor resigned. Brian's daddy was one of the three selectmen at the time.

Sorry "all eyes"
In times of universal deception.. Speaking the truth will be viewed as a revolutionary act.
Cops are servants who put themselves above their masters. People in law enforcement and other public sectors need to remember whose da boss.!!! Gee a 40 year cop.. Most of em go out on some faked disability way before that.

To Peter
Peter..I'm not arguing the first amendment right here! I do respect someones opinion but when there bashing someone who they didnt even know I think its wrong! Officer Ambrose dedicated almost 40 years to the town of Springfield!! How many people can say they have dedicated that many years to any job!!! not many people on here! This blog is so bias its not even funny...If I posted something bad about your or Big Jim L you bet your last dollar it would "disappear"! Thats my opinion as Ive been watching this blog long enough!! Oh yeah I have to agree with you on the Wettlaufer thing...I think he's a little off also! The town of Holland needs a Town Administrator!

"NOT" Bashing
To Long Gone AKA "all eyes" AKA Schmegma...I think you or your family members are Cop. Or some other public govt drone. I was not bashing Ambrose per se. It is a tragedy when any family has a loved one killed at work....even store clerks. I am bashing the public spectacle and bagpipe parades paid for by the taxpayers. Blue line corruption is a way of life for all cops. Therefor I bash the entire fraternity of the law enforcement community who elevate themselves and each above those they serve. The public funds expended on propaganda and ceremony used to bury Ambrose was a prime example of an elitest entitlement mentality. Those funds could have been used to rehabilitate drug addicts and Ambrose and his community would have been better served than they were by screeching bagpipe parades of those trying to glorify themselves using public dollars.

Wake up people!
I would rather my tax dollars be spent on bagpipes than on paying Tani Saperstein the $350/hour Superlawyer that the town pays to defend Brian Johnson for his Saturday assault on an innocent towns person (Brian was not working for the town that Saturday.... Unless we pay Brian to ice fish.)

By the way.... Did Lynn Arnold win the select board seat? And did we retain our right to ELECT town officials or did Wetttlaufer get his hand picked puppet yes woman on the board? Wetttlaufer is vying for Town Manager.... As soon as the towns people give up their right to elect officials (Wetttlaufer wants virtually everything to be appointed by the select board that he is chair of) but ultimately he wants to make his corrupt self town manager. Can you say " hail Wetttlaufer? (tryit with a German accent.... Like they did in WWII)

Molly's Ride
Molly Bish annual ride.. Molly's daddy worked in law enforcement so we get media coverage forever, state police cadets on their knees combing the woods, and perpetual public reminders. RIP Molly. Such a tragedy....
.. WHAT About Holly ..? She was killed In the same area by what investigators think was the same guy. Holly's daddy worked in a shop. No perpetual media, no cadets crawling, no politicians at candlelight vigils every year... RIP Princess Holly..
Sadest thing is the #1 suspect was a protected confidential informant and was doing undercover buys for local narcotics squads when he met the Girls... Thank you Cops. These little Girls' blood is on your hands.

Clarification
To Thin Blue Line:
The reason Molly Bish still garners so much attention is because her family and the Molly Bish Foundation is still very active. They host the motorcycle rally, they host the annual children's safety fair, and make regular appearances at events around New England giving out child identification kits. Holly's family has chosen a different approach. Her family members are always present at all of the Bish Foundation's events, and Holly is undoubtedly discussed in all of the media coverage of Bish Foundation events because as you said, the cases are inexplicably linked. Beyond that though, they have chosen to live quietly, behind the scenes.
Facts are often twisted on this blog to suit the whims of the individual posters, but to suggest an imbalance in attention to those two kidnapping cases simply because you don't like cops is despicable. Media attention to those cases has nothing to do with what Molly or Holly's fathers did for work, it is a result of how the two families have chosen to live their lives after losing a child.
And on a side note, the suspect you referred to is not the no. 1 suspect. There was Robert Burneau, Rodney Stanger, Ed Pulliot... Gerald Battistoni is one name on a long list of suspects. The reason I bring this up is because there are several references to Battistoni on this blog as a killer. He is not a (convicted) killer. He is a child rapist and obvious piece of crap, but he has not been accused of killing anyone.
"Eastern Hampton County Narcotics Task Force uses a Serial Child Rapist & Killer as Confidential Informant"
That is a libelous assertion.

You are right READER.
Molly had cadets crawling on their knees ONLY because daddy was in Law Enforcement. And if cops just caught robbers or responded to emergencies only then they would be doing their jobs. Cops make up rules as they go along and ignore our constitution as a matter of practice. They have God complexes and put themselves above the law. Molly would be forgotten like Sara Pryor if her Daddy worked outside of law enforcement. Great job catching the guy. NOT.!!!

Bull kaka
The confidential informant/ child rapist was investigated with private funding and was found to be doing drug buys for cops in both areas where the girls were abducted.! Spin it any way you want. This is not coincidence and those police drug buys using a child molestor as a confidential informant led to Holly and Molly getting killed. Why can't law enforcement admit their mistake. Instead this guy will never be charged because to convict would be to shine the light on a ball of worms that is our inept law enforcement community. Go bust some underage graduation parties and forget about the Dead Kids created by hung ho Miami vice wanna bee's. The thin blue line will never let all the facts be known.

GERALD BATTISTONI a/k/a C.I.#62 INFO TURNED OVER TO THE FBI by CAPTAIN JOINT
As of a few weeks ago it was made public that the FBI is now looking at GERALD BATTISTONI, a confirmed confidential informant and convicted child rapist in the cold case murder of Molly Bish. I have just gone to the Bangor branch of the FBI to have them look at Gerald Battistoni for a very different reason. A SWAT Raid on my home on March 27, 2003 was based on an affidavit claiming I sold marijuana to confidential informant #62 (Gerald Battistoni) on three dates. On all three dates I was documented in the hospital. The affidavit was signed by Special Agent Scott E. Haley of the Eastern Hampton County Narcotic Task Force. This "raid" on my home I now believe was an attempt to steal the land by a crooked task force and Holland town officials at that time.
I have supplied the FBI with the affidavit, as well as my hospital records, depositions of Chief (no more) Kevin P. Gleason and Special Agent Scott E. Haley, and shown them xerox copies of the money from the three buys that never were, manufactured evidence the police supplied the court, also a crime. I am now living in Maine and have started the investigation at the Bangor office. Anyone with information on crooked land deals in Holland or the surrounding area, should contact the Bangor FBI at 207 9476670

If I am lying about this I am wasting the time of the FBI, a crime I can be arrested for. When the truth of my claims against these police officers are checked out and proven true, these officers should be arrested for perjury and manufacturing false evidence.

Lets see if the system really works.....

To opm
I read the firstcomment about highway boys not being at work so i left a little early for work on Tuesday morning. I watched all of them pull in and park down past the town barn, by the dog pound. Brian Johnson parked in the old spot up by the salt shed but all the other cars/trucks were further back.

Private Beach
It's amazing. Although I let All the kids in the neighborhood use my beach....Some neighbors on Lakeridge are assholes for almost ten years going so far as to try and get rid of our family pet .... so I look out my window and catch em trespassing on and my beach. First time I ever threw anyone off it.

Blue Line is Purple with innocent Blood
Another "great job" by Union police detail at Colorado theater. Twelve dead and fifty wounded while a Union Police Detail being paid overtime for crowd control were too cowardly to respond.
Police being paid hefty salaries have no problem teargassing little girls at "occupy"gatherings though they take no action as a deranged gunman massacres young theatergoers. Way to go... Looks like there is more than enough innocent red blood spilled by inept law enforcement officials to turn the thin blue line purple.
Cops are basically cowards without their swat teams, helicopters, and snipers.
Detail cops on overtime crowd control last night in Colorado show the true cowardice of most cops when they refuse to rush a gunman in the theater , thereby allowing innocent young people to be massacred.

Smh your an idiot
Seriously....?!?!?!! 12 people just lost their lives and your going to place the blame on a police officer!!!!!!? The gunman was armed with assault rifles, handguns, shotgun and tear gas and had full body armor on!! I don't care if god damn robo cop or the terminator was working the pay job because nobody was going to stop that crazed gunman until adequate police response was there! Your a piece of crap for saying something like that and I have no doubt in my mind you grew up in the small town of Holland and had numerous run ins with the law...it's scary how many sick people there are out there like you! Let's see how the tables turn when you need help from the police!! and you will at some point in your life!! Life's a big circle and eventually comes back around!!!

Tiny ., your words support my argument.. Cops are cowards unless they have superior number and firepower... Or they are using teargas and tasers on unruly unarmed schoolkids..

Two Cops
Hey Tiny.. There were two cops on crowd control at the Colorado theater when the gunman opened fire.. Two cops making alot of overtime. Two cops flexing their authority picking on youngsters. Two cops who did nothing but quiver in fear as the gunman rampaged in the theater. They are a fine example for cowards with badges everywhere.

Once again as I watch the Holland Highway crew through the year it's now day light at 6:40 a.m. and the crew is still "working" summer hours, witch means they are getting paid for forty and they are not working forty.. For some reason good old BJ thinks its ok to keep screwing the town residents of Holland for what ever isn't nailed down.. The thing that really blasts me is there are other ppl. On the highway dept. that are being compensated also, none of them are there on fridays..
